Associate Carla F. T. Muller
cmuller@mgcklawyers.com

An 18 year veteran attorney, California native Carla F. T. Muller provides her clients with the combined benefits of her considerable experience and her great enthusiasm for practicing law. Noting that there is nothing civil about civil litigation, Carla came to Morse, Giesler, Callister & Karlin in February 2008 with a background in family law, probate, transactional work, and real estate. In addition, she has seven years experience in workers’ compensation defense of self-insured employers, carriers, and California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA), where she was often hand-picked by clients seeking her expertise and excellent results with complex cases. Her clients have included: Continental Airlines, Ralphs, Albertsons’, Sav-On Drugs, Applied Risk, Argonaut, First Comp and ORCPG. Crediting exemplary verbal and written communication skills as central to her results-oriented work, Carla is tenacious, client responsive, and keenly aware of the job demands on claims adjustors. As a result, she provides necessary documents quickly, and attains settlement authority in rapid order. Her top file handling strategies include: seeking ways to end litigation as quickly as possible; reading all files thoroughly, especially subpoenaed records and depositions other than those she has taken; and providing concise, appropriate settlement work-ups. For as long as she can recall, Carla has found the courtroom intellectually stimulating, stating that even a film with a courtroom scene is a treat. She lives in Burbank and is the Los Angeles King’s hockey blogger on Hockey Buzz.
