Evan Hadnot came to Morse, Giesler, Callister & Karlin in July 2005 to head up the government segment of their Compensation Defense Department. With 15 years of experience in personal injury, premises liability, criminal law, bankruptcy law, family law and eminent domain condemnation law, Evan had ample opportunity to gain insight into fields that now support his work at MGC&K. Expertise in both bankruptcy and workers compensation is necessary when those two worlds collide, and personal injury deals with injured individuals in a civil context that also deals with the evaluation, settlement and litigation of bodily injury claims. Evan cites organization as a vital strategy in providing clients with the best possible service. When working with government, you are inevitably dealing with a very diffuse entity where it is certainly not easy to find a ball carrier, so you must be extremely organized. That is the only way to manage a larger than standard case load and be sure that you are providing any given client with needed attention at a critical moment. Communication runs a close second in terms of serving a client: email has changed the way business is done, so we take advantage of that and it makes for a more responsive relationship with our clients. Evan and Mariela his wife of almost 25 years live in Huntington Beach who, in their spare time, are the business agents and proud sponsors of their 14 year-old niece, Mackenzie Lamperein who is at the start of a promising modeling career.
