
Michael La Sota joined the Workers’ Compensation Department at Morse,Giesler,Callister & Karlin in July of 2006. Michael arrives at MGC&K with two and half years of experience with a Workers’ Comp defense firm in Anaheim, and the certainty that workers compensation is the area of the law to which his skills and interests are best suited. “Having started out in Workers’ Comp, I switched over to civil litigation for one year, which really served to demonstrate to me that I wanted to make my career in Workers’ Compensation.” Michael has long wanted to be an attorney, and follows his father, uncle and older brother into the legal profession. His strategy for handling client files includes strong organization and a passion for detail. To that, Michael adds the communication skills that help him work cordially and efficiently with opposing counsel, rounding out an effective approach to excellent client service. Born and raised in Arizona, Michael moved to California after graduating from law school, and now lives in Huntington Beach with his wife and daughter.
