Retail sales and management provide the backdrop for Stephanie Mullen’s career in law: “Sales gave me the confidence to convince others to buy what I was selling, and there is nothing like managing others to develop your interpersonal skills.” She was attracted to the law as a career in which she would need to make strong intellectual arguments in order to advocate for others. Her primary strategy in file handling is to establish clients’ goals and maintain consistent two-way communication. Naturally outgoing, Stephanie establishes excellent working relationships with co-defendants as well as applicants’ attorneys. Before coming to Morse, Giesler, Callister & Karlin in February of 2010, Stephanie worked at another firm in workers’ compensation, prior to which she accrued valuable experience in civil litigation. Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Stephanie remains an avid skier, though she now makes her home in Orange County where she enjoys playing tennis.
