Jeffrey H. Hiura graduated cum laude from UCLA in 1996, majoring in political science with a specialization in international politics. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in 2000. During law school, he served as an editor on the Loyola Entertainment Law Review and clerked for LA Superior Court Judge Ernest Hiroshige where he sharpened his litigation, analytical, legal research and writing skills.
Jeff's passion for negotiating franchise deals for his clients began as a general counsel law clerk at Hilton Hotels World Headquarters. After graduating law school, he joined Alston & Bird, (formerly Weston, Benshoof, Rochefort, Rubalcava & MacCuish) as an associate where he negotiated real estate deals on behalf of Fortune 500 companies.
For the last 11+ years, Jeff has specialized in workers' compensation defense at MGCK&H.
In 2007, Jeff was elevated to partner at MGC&K where he continues to implement his proactive aggressive file handling approach to achieve quick, net positive resolutions of cases for his clients.
