Tom Shimonovitz joined Morse, Giesler, Callister, Karlin & Hiura as an Associate in June of 2018. He arrived at our firm after several years working in house for Farmers Insurance, handling a large caseload of workers’ compensation matters.
He prides himself on consistently establishing a clear line of communication with clients and attorneys. “I always take the time to explain each claim’s merits and procedural posture to my clients. As a result, they feel confident and in lock step with my case posture. My ongoing familiarity, and mutual respect, with attorneys in our field helps me to quickly resolve issues and reach favorable claim resolutions.” His decision to practice law is a direct result of his interest in the complexities of the legal process and the societal insights it reveals.
He is highly skilled with computers and computer systems, having built corporate networks in the past. This provides him with the ability to successfully incorporate MGCK&H into paperless and remote office capabilities, which keep our firm on the cutting edge of efficiency and responsiveness.
Having grown up in Los Angeles, Tom enjoys skiing, hiking, camping, and playing poker. He enthusiastically follows the L.A. sports scene. Go Lakers!
