Angelica Lozano - Partner

Angelica was first inspired to go to law school at the age of 13. As a first-generation Mexican-American, her parents spoke little English, putting her in the unique position of navigating the complex world of hospitals, banks and government from a very young age. She developed communication and advocacy skills, making the field of law a natural fit. Workers’ Compensation excites her as an attorney as it allows her to work on all phases of litigation, from inception to settlement. Prior to specializing in Workers’ Compensation, Angelica focused on complex civil litigation for 5 years. This experience gave her the organizational framework to structure her ideas and create a clear plan for her cases. She enjoys finding a creative solution that no one else has thought of to resolve claims, and figuring out ways to expedite closure for her clients. A people person, Angelica is a constant communicator, calling her clients to support them no matter what the venue.

Originally from the westside of Chicago, Angelica is a passionate Chicagoan, born and raised in the heart of the city. She moved to California for law school, and while she misses Chicago, California has much to offer throughout the year. As a city girl at heart, she loves living in Los Angeles. Its outdoor lifestyle is particularly exciting, and she enjoys living in the Eagle Rock and Highland Park area because of their walkability. Outside of work, she is most passionate about her family and friends, and has two kids, one in college and one in middle school.
